Serenity Foundation - Financial Assistance

The Serenity Foundation’s mission is to improve the mental health of communities by sponsoring ketamine infusion based treatments for depression, PTSD, addiction, and other mental health illnesses. These services will be reserved for those with financial hardship that need an alternative or addition to conventional medications and treatments. Serenity Foundation will provide assistance to patients turning to an innovative class of medications to treat mental illness with a new level of effectiveness. 

Founded by Dr. Bal Nandra, Chief Medical Officer of IV Solution Ketamine Centers of Chicago, Serenity Foundation helps address glaring inequality and lack of access because intravenous ketamine has not yet been FDA approved for mental illnesses, making clinics that can offer these services only able to receive out of pocket and cash payments. The lack of coverage from health insurance makes their services inaccessible to many who would benefit greatly. 

The Serenity Foundation and its Board believe that ketamine treatments are an impactful service that should not discriminate based on a patient's financial situation.
