Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long will my infusion take?
    • The duration of the infusion depends on the goal of the treatment
    • Anxiety/Depression: We recommend 2-4 infusions of 500mg. Each is done over 2-3 hours. If you have undergone ketamine infusion treatment with us already, NAD+ should be a good adjunct for your maintenance schedule and we recommend a single 500mg infusion for this purpose.
    • Anti-Aging: We recommend 4 daily infusions of 250-500mg. Each is done over 1-3 hours.
    • Brain-Booster: We recommend 2 infusions of 500mg. Each is done over 2-3 hours. We recommend 2-4 infusions of 500mg. Each is done over 2-3 hours. • Can I eat or drink before the NAD+ infusion?
    • You can eat and drink before and up to the infusion. However, we suggest that you limit fluid intake and void prior to starting.
  • What will I experience during the infusion?
    • NAD+, because of its intravenous potency, has some physiological effects that may cause the following:
    • Chest pressure
    • Lightheadedness/headache
    • Abdominal cramping
    • Muscle excitability
    • Increased energy
    • Most of these effects are brief and will resolve in a few minutes by themselves or by slowing the drip.
  • Can I drive home or go to work right after the infusion?
    • Because NAD+ does not have any psychoactive or sedative effects, you may drive home after the infusion. You can also go to work the same day afterwards. There are no restrictions on activity and the above-mentioned side-effects should fully resolve before you leave.
  • When will I feel the positive effects and how long will they last?
    • You may feel many of the positive effects of NAD+ immediately after the infusion. Others you may notice a day or two afterward.
    • The effects of NAD+ may last from 2-4 weeks and this varies between people.
  • Will my insurance cover NAD+ infusion therapy?
    • NAD+ infusions are currently not covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or most other insurances. We accept most credit cards, cash, and also offer CareCredit financing with favorable options here.
